Complete enclosure manufacturing
MARTEX can deliver an enclosure as a complete manufacturing project. We start by reviewing its function, size and assembly method, then develop the geometry for thermoforming, manufacture the mould, form the part and CNC-machine it. This enables openings for connectors, displays, ventilation and fasteners.
Enclosures for different industries
We manufacture enclosures and parts for medical and rehabilitation equipment, automotive and transport, agricultural machinery and special-purpose vehicles, electronics and automation, industry, lighting applications — including diffusers and covers — and ventilation and air-conditioning equipment. We select the technology to meet the product requirements.
From prototype to series production
Thermoforming offers a practical route from the first prototype to repeatable production without the very expensive tooling associated with some other methods. We select mould type and finishing methods to suit the development stage and planned quantity.
Materials and use requirements
Material choice depends on application, appearance, mechanical demands and cleaning method. ABS and ABS/PMMA may suit enclosures with particular surface requirements; polycarbonate can be considered where impact resistance or transparency is important. Properties of a specific grade, including any fire-performance requirements, should be verified against its material documentation. The final choice follows a review of the operating environment and product requirements.
