VEHICLES AND MACHINERY
Manufacturer of vehicle body panels and interior components
MARTEX manufactures plastic body panels, covers and interior components for automotive applications, agricultural machinery, special-purpose vehicles and two-wheelers, including scooters. We work to customer documentation and support new product development, from concept and prototype to series production.

Capabilities
- Exterior body panels, interior trim and equipment covers
- Automotive, agricultural machinery, special-purpose vehicles and transport
- ABS, ABS/PMMA and polymers selected for the application
- Design, moulds, thermoforming and 3-axis and 5-axis CNC machining
Custom plastic body panels and interior components
We manufacture parts that define the exterior of a vehicle or machine, line its interior and cover its equipment. The scope can include body panels, component covers, cab parts, interior panels and parts for specialist bodywork. Each component is made for a specific project: its shape, dimensions, division into parts and mounting method follow the equipment design and manufacturer requirements. We agree on both the geometry and the required appearance of visible surfaces.
Plastic components for agricultural machinery
Panels and covers for agricultural machinery need to suit the component layout, operation and service access. During project preparation, we review mounting points, interfaces between panels, holes and cut-outs, and how covers will be removed. For cab or operator-station components, surface finish and fit with the equipment also matter. Material selection considers the specified operating conditions, including sunlight, temperature, moisture, dirt and cleaning agents.
Panels and bodywork for special-purpose vehicles
Special-purpose vehicles often need components matched to particular equipment and operating requirements. We manufacture plastic parts for these projects, including body panels, covers and interior bodywork components. The documentation defines the manufacturing scope, installation locations and acceptance requirements. Design should allow for access to services, component replacement and the division of larger surfaces into separate parts. Hole and cut-out variants can be planned for different equipment configurations.
Automotive, transport and vehicle interior parts
For automotive and transport applications, we manufacture body panels and interior parts that combine practical function with the appearance of the finished product. Panel development considers edge geometry, adjoining parts and fit with the structure. Vehicle interiors also require agreement on texture, colour, visible joints and openings for equipment. A project may cover a single component or a set of interfacing parts prepared for subsequent assembly.
Materials selected for the installation environment
Materials include ABS and ABS/PMMA, with the sheet grade and thickness selected to suit the geometry and component requirements. An interior panel has different operating conditions from an exterior panel on a machine used outdoors. Before selecting a specific grade, we therefore establish loads, temperature, exposure to substances and surface appearance requirements. If the project specifies UV resistance, a fire-performance classification or industry requirements, we need these details to select the material and agree on verification methods.
From design and mould manufacture to thermoforming and CNC
We can start with complete documentation or help adapt a model for manufacture. Design review covers radii, draft angles, forming depth, part division and tool access. Once the mould is manufactured, the sheet is shaped by thermoforming. Subsequent 3-axis or 5-axis CNC machining produces the final outline, mounting holes and cut-outs. Depending on the project, the scope can also include joining, fitting additional components, painting and other agreed finishing operations.
Prototypes, short runs and series production
A prototype allows the fit of a panel to the vehicle or machine, assembly method, service access and appearance to be checked. Agreed adjustments can then be made before production begins. Tooling and process planning depend on geometry and the expected quantity. Some changes to holes and cut-outs can be made in the CNC program without rebuilding the mould, provided the formed geometry remains suitable. The final production scope follows approval of the design and acceptance requirements.
Requesting a quotation for a panel or interior component
Please provide a 3D model, drawing or concept description, part dimensions, planned quantity and intended application. State whether the part will be installed inside or outside, and identify visible surfaces, texture, colour and mounting points. Photographs of the installation location and details of interfacing components are useful. Include material requirements, operating conditions and acceptance criteria. These details allow us to discuss the manufacturing method, tooling scope, prototype requirements and subsequent production stages.
