Why five axes for thermoformed parts?
Thermoformed parts are three-dimensional, with holes and edges often located on sides, slopes and surfaces at varying angles. Five axes allow the tool to be positioned relative to these surfaces without repeated manual repositioning of the part.
Large working envelope
MARTEX's largest machining envelope reaches 4000 × 2600 × 1300 mm, accommodating large thermoformed parts, models and moulds. Centres with different working envelopes let us select the right machine for each task.
From model to production
We use 5-axis CNC for more than finishing thermoformed parts. We also machine models and moulds, bringing tooling manufacture and final product machining together within the same production facility.
